    Football: Week 14
I can go 13/16 again if Atlanta wins tonight. Unlucky week for the Chargers who may have only managed to stay in the playoff hunt because Dallas had a miracle in their comeback against the Chiefs. But with 3 really tough games left (@Indy, @KC, Denver) I don't think they will be able to overcome the Steelers for the last wildcard spot.

So expect to see me wearing more Orange!

In the Yahoo pro football pickem, I have 130 points (I forgot to vote the first week so I'll be generous and say 140 points.) The leader has 159. I'd have to improve a game plus to catch up. A few bad weeks (6/16, 7/14, 8/14) didn't help.

The real football this year happens in June. World Cup is here! The US is in a difficult group with Italy, Ghana, and Czech Republic. Most predict 3 games and out for the Americans. Argentina and Brazil and Mexico are all potential winners.

It is hard to believe that four years ago I was in South Korea working during the World Cup. I have some great memories of sitting with the crowds watching the games on giant TVs in downtown Seoul. And then roaming the streets afterwards with the excited Koreans.
