Howdy. This is Bob. The Bob of Bob Blog. This blog contains about five minutes of my thoughts each day. A record. A history. And occasionally worth reading.

    TV: Joan of Arcadia
Joan of Arcadia is one of the sweetest shows I've seen. Drama. High school. A little science. A little cops. God.

Today, Joan had to go to the dance with the school bully. Creepy. And as always, the show made me think about my life and the ways I impact those around me. The surprise this time was that the impact was definitely not direct.

I feel like I need to start listening to the inner voice more. I need to jump outside my comfort zone and maybe start having a bigger impact on the people around me. Then again, maybe if I just crank out the best user interface possible, I'll make a huge impact on the people playing EverQuest2.

Hmmm. I wonder if that's why I like writing games for a living. I like to think that we really can impact our player's lives, even if it only means entertaining them.
